SIC (US 1987) : At SYNLawn, we define our vertically integrated production process with a straightforward statement: “From yarn to yard. ” In other words, we control every aspect of the production of our synthetic grass. From obtaining materials to the finished product you’ll find in thousands of homes and businesses around the world.
We process and refine items like recycled water bottles and soybean pods into raw pellets. We then use the pellets to extrude into long spools of texturized yarn. Once cooled, we stitch the yarn into a textile backing known as tufting, similar to a giant sewing machine. From there the newly created synthetic turf receives a durable secondary backing coat. The next step is to trim the turf to the desired pile height and carefully inspected for quality assurance. All this under one roof in our processing facility located in Dalton, Georgia, USA.
